MAX bot for a goalkeeper school

The coach posts sessions from the chat, players sign up in two taps and the coach gets each request with Confirm and Decline buttons. The bot sends a reminder the day before. Telegram and MAX in one bot.

Task

A goalkeeper school needed its schedule, sign‑ups and reminders inside the messenger that parents and players already use, with no separate app.

Without a bot the schedule lives in a group chat and the sign‑up list has to be kept by hand: who is coming, who needs a reminder, who is waiting for a reply.

Solution

Posts from the chat

The coach types a session or news item straight to the bot, adds the date, time and venue, checks the preview and publishes. Nothing beyond the messenger is needed.

Broadcast with a button

The post goes to every subscriber with a Sign up button. News is sent the same way, just without sign‑up.

Sign‑up in two taps

A player taps Sign up, enters a name and phone and confirms consent to data processing. Signing up twice for the same session is not duplicated.

Request to the coach

The coach gets the request with the name, phone and session and answers with Confirm or Decline. The player learns the decision at once and can cancel on their own.

Reminder the day before

Every evening the bot checks the schedule and reminds everyone signed up about tomorrow’s session: date, time, venue.

Telegram and MAX in one bot

One SQLite database and one set of flows for both messengers: reminders and the coach’s replies go back to wherever the sign‑up came from.

Widget and API for the site

The schedule from the bot appears on the school’s website as a widget with a Sign up button, and a JSON API returns the upcoming sessions.

Coach controls

A coach menu: stats on subscribers and requests, the list of people signed up, post editing, cancelling a session with a notice to everyone on the list.
