Task

A China import company had a finished Figma design. The job was to build a site from it with product and equipment catalogs, cases and news without losing the design or speed.

A design from the client’s own designer is common for agencies and companies with in‑house design. Our part here is markup and assembly: reproduce the design pixel for pixel, make it editable in WordPress and keep it light.

Solution

Custom theme from the design

A WordPress theme written for the Figma design with no Elementor: grids, Inter and Geometria typography, animations and forms as designed.

Custom post types

Products, equipment, cases and news with their own categories: 68 products and 35 pieces of equipment in 33 categories, 4 cases.

Structure

Turnkey import, equipment, products, retail chains, services, cases, articles and about: 202 URLs in the sitemap.

Forms and search

5 forms for different requests, site search and a supply contract download from the home page.

Speed

The home page weighs 0.8 MB with 72 images and 41 requests.

Markup

JSON‑LD Organization, LocalBusiness and WebSite.

Result

202

pages

68 + 35

products and equipment items

0.8 MB

home page weight

The client got a site exactly like their design, editable in WordPress and fast, and the designer got markup with no compromises.
