Solvent online store
A WooCommerce store on a custom theme: containers and bulk filling, volume pricing, wholesale from 3 tonnes, checkout for companies with tax ID and VAT, pickup from four warehouses, 19 order statuses with emails, 1C sync and a voice AI assistant.
Task
DVK has been selling solvents since 1994: by the litre, in canisters and drums and by tanker from 3 tonnes, from warehouses in Samara and Tolyatti. Buyers range from a tradesman who needs one canister to a plant that needs a tanker.
The store had to show a price for any volume and container, take orders from both individuals and companies with VAT, pass them to 1C and tell a manager at once what kind of order it is and where it will be collected.
Solution
A custom theme instead of a page builder
The WordPress theme was written for this store: no page builder, no parent theme and no extra plugins — just 6 plugins, the rest is theme code. The site opens fast and updates safely.
Speed
Images sized to the screen, LiteSpeed and Redis caching and cache warm‑up with our Cache Warmer plugin. The home page on mobile weighs 1.7 MB.
Products and prices
23 products and 161 container options: bulk by the kilogram, canisters, drums and wholesale from 3 tonnes. The price follows the volume, and promotions in the catalog menu alternate between wholesale and retail, each with its own badge.
Checkout
Company or individual, tax ID and address suggestions, 22% VAT, pickup from one of four warehouses or delivery and consent checkboxes under Russian privacy law. Canisters and bulk ship only by pickup, and the site says so up front.
Orders, emails and 1C
19 order statuses by buyer type and delivery method, branded emails to the buyer and managers, the 1C sync and a maintenance mode switched with one button in the admin.
Search, AI search and Yandex
Markup for the company, four warehouses, products and FAQs, a sitemap with images, llms.txt with prices and warehouses for AI assistants, a YML feed for Yandex ads and analytics goals for leads and orders.
